What to expect:

Hi! I'm Jen and I can't
wait to work with you!
A quick, relaxed headshot experience.
1. CHECK IN
When you arrive, follow signage to get in line as I will be taking headshots first come, first served. There you can check your look and mingle. I'll check you in you with your name and email address before we begin.
2. STEP IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA
I'll guide you through a few simple poses and expressions. We'll spend about 3–4 minutes photographing you and create several strong options.
3. CHOOSE YOUR FAVORITE
You'll see your images right away on the tethered screen and choose your favorite before you leave.
4. THAT'S IT!
I'll professionally edit your selected image and deliver your finished headshot to the email address you provided within two weeks.
Your only job?
Show up rested. Relax. Be yourself.
I'll take care of the rest.
Your Conference Headshot: A Few Tips Before You Arrive
You don't need to know how to pose or be comfortable in front of a camera. That's my job. I'll guide you through a quick, relaxed session designed to create a professional image that still feels like you.
A few simple things to keep in mind:
Wear something you feel good in.
Choose what you would normally wear when meeting a client, colleague, or new connection. Solid colors and simple patterns tend to photograph beautifully. Avoid anything heavily wrinkled or overly distracting.
Bring your personality.
Your headshot doesn't need to look stiff or overly formal. If a bold lipstick, favorite color, glasses, or signature piece is part of how you normally present yourself, wear it.
Keep makeup and hair true to you.
Think polished, not dramatically different. If you wear makeup, your usual routine is perfect. Give yourself a little time for hair and makeup touch-ups before you arrive.
If you wear glasses, wear them.
If they're part of your everyday professional look, they belong in your headshot. If you'd prefer a photo without them, that's completely fine too. Take them off at least 30 min in advance to avoid the indentations they can leave behind.
Check your look before your session.
Take a few minutes to freshen up, check your hair, and take a breath. You don't need to arrive "camera ready" in the traditional sense—you just need to arrive as yourself. I will have a mirror and lint brushes.
Most importantly: don't worry about posing.
I'll give you simple direction throughout the session. We'll make small adjustments to your posture, expression, and position until we find something that feels natural. You don't have to perform for the camera. Just show up. I'll take it from there.
“A teacher takes a hand, opens a mind, and touches a heart.”
Thank you for the work you do, the lives you shape,
and the countless ways you help others see what is possible.
With gratitude,
Jen
